Biography
Alpha Delta Kappa was founded in 1947, and is an international honorary sorority for women educators. The Farmville Chapter was organized in April 1970, and included members from public and private schools in Amelia, Buckingham, Charlotte, Cumberland, Lunenburg and Prince Edward Counties. The organization awards scholarships and participates in other community events, including hosting professional and personal enrichment events for members.
