This collection, which dates from 1840 to 1871, consists of financial records related to Robert C. Anderson and Providence Plantation.

The remainder of the correspondence was written by family and friends of Rosalie Womack. In addition to the known correspondents in this collection are three pieces of correspondence for whom only the first name is known, Martha, W.H., and Willie.

This ashtray, which dates from 1914-1924, is composed of stamped brass. The bowl of the ashtray depicts The Rotunda, Grainger Hall, and White House Hall as seen from High Street. The rim of the ashtray is decorated with flowers and leaves. The words “State Normal School” and “Farmville, VA” are stamped on the bottom margin.
